Bundaeggi (번데기)
Bundaeggi is silkworm hatchlings bubbled in a stock of soy sauce and sugar to upgrade the flavor of the bug. The hatchlings live inside trees so they have a tree rind taste with a crunchy outside and a delicate focus. This kind of food began during the Korean conflict and was eaten for its high protein content and other scant supplements that weren't bountiful at that point. Bundaeggi is eaten by a ton of older South Koreans since it is something they grew up with and are accustomed to eating it. It is made in the roads in gigantic cauldrons and is regularly eaten while drinking soju, the Korean rice wine.
